ACE SPORTS CLINIC: TENNIS

Whether you’re a pro athlete serving for match point or a weekend warrior grinding out three sets at the tennis club, your body is your temple – its vehicle for sport.
From your first swing, through athletic peak, and into your golden years, the body can’t contain desire, but can certainly betray it. For most of us, our competitive edge is dulled only by age and abilities. No matter the levels we achieve, or the heights at which we compete – from intramural to Olympics – our bodies, minds, and souls still demand care and attention.
Toronto’s Ace Sports Clinic brings pro tour practices to your home court, founded by Luke Fuller, a strength and conditioning specialist with a Physiotherapy & Osteopathy background, known for his work on the ATP Tour of Men’s Professional Tennis, and Cristian Ganea, an international basketball coach with a background in science, massage therapy and high-performance training. Ace has been built on a foundational understanding that to treat an athletic injury or enhance athletic performance is to commit to a holistic and all-encompassing approach to well-being. A focused regiment underlined by positivity, empathy, and honesty treats the mind, body, and spirit in equal parts to tendons, muscles, and ligaments

Ace Sports Clinic’s full-treatment programs tailor themselves to the specific needs of each client and each sport. Fuller’s first love is tennis, evident in his approach to treating the unique challenges of tennis wear and tear. His attention to detail spans everything from sleep to “recovery strategies and enough time between serves Yand] implementing mobility exercises into warmups and weekly routines […] to allow better rotation and impart better energy onto the ball. Tennis is no different from any other activity – there’s optimal biomechanics to it.” Working every angle in a collaborative effort with athletes and coaches to find that optimal edge is what sets Ace apart.
